My name is Belusile Mhlanga, I work as an Environmental Information Officer at Eswatini Environment Authority. My organisation plays a regulatory roleand is tasked with monitoring of the environment and enforcement of Environmental Laws in Eswatini. One of the key functions of the organisation is to raise awareness and educate people about the environment and also ensure the participation of the public in environmental activities.
I decided to take this course because of the role I play in the implementation of ESD in the country. The course will equip me with skills that will empower me to implement the ESD agenda in Eswatini.
The change project I’m going to implement will be on policy, by the end of the course the country will have a draft ESD Strategy for 2030
