Iam Florence Phiri from karonga TTC, Malawi. I have thought of participating in this project because in my community, there is environmental degradation, especially in the issue of cutting down trees unnecessarily with an aim of making charcoal. This is affecting the present and future generation in the sense that, with the cutting down of trees , the climate is changing which is bringing about alot of problems like shortage of rainfall , resulting to hunger then malnutrition ending up to deaths. Therefore, I will engage in a change project of keeping chickens, then the manure will be harvested and applied in the planted trees so as to recover green vegetation which will bring about good rainfall for proper farming.
