I have enjoyed the news article from Zimbabwean change project story whereby dump materials were to be turned into useful audio visual aids for primary school Education in Masvingo.
These have influenced my thinking about my Education for Sustainable Development change project in the sense that the communities around our college have a lot of dump materials which are not properly disposed of. In turn this is contributing to accumulation of green house gases in the ozone layer which cause climate change. This is resulting in variations in rainfall patterns consequently hunger, poverty, low development and school drop outs just to mention a few.
This news article will help me to think critically on ways of helping in overcoming the outlined challenges so that the communities will be helped in the development of knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to shape their actions/practices to improve the quality of their lives without compromising the future and the planet at large.
