AnonymousHi everyone, my name is Nelisiwe Ndlela, a lecturer at William Pitcher College. I participated in this SST/ESD program to assist my pre-service teachers understand how can they protect their environment within the college and surrounding areas; I would also assist them to understand how can they live peaceful with others; and lastly, I will assist in the promotion of long-life learning by imparting entrepreneurial skills and vocational skills to pre-service teachers.
Our group initial idea of change project is about curriculum reformation where practical skills will be imparted to pre-service teachers to sustain their well-being.Since these economic activities will put a strain on the environment, then these teachers will be introduced to environmental education, organic agriculture and waste management.
