AnonymousThank you very much for the very informative SST case studies. I liked case study number 1 the most. This a SST change project developed by Mary Mount Teachers College in Zimbabwe. The change project featues a clean up campaign, creation of toys from waste and organic gardening to use up space. Nowadays disposing of waste has become a global manace and a cause for concern. The introduction of disposable nappies and face masks to prevent the spread of Covid-19 has worsened the situation. This case study has inspired me a lot. Through the change project that I am planning to do I think I will help contribute towards solving the waste management issues affecting Eswatini.Through the change project waste management will be viewed as a resource and thereby scale down the demand for extraction of new resources. Extracting fewer materials and using existing resources would help avert some of the impacts created along the chain.
