AnonymousHello everyone, my name is Sue Brundrit and I work at the Schools Development Unit at UCT doing in-service teacher professional development in Natural Sciences and Mathematics as well as many other projects that include teacher and learner support programmes.
The change project that I would like to develop relates to supporting the transformation of our Natural Science courses that are currently offered and aligning them with the Education for Sustainable Development competencies, i.e. the move ‘from policy to pedagogy’.
The possible areas of focus for my change project are:
• ACT Natural Science Intermediate/Senior Phase courses
• Design thinking as a transformative framework
• Natural Science short courses
